Common Swallowtail growing fast on my bolting florence fennel.. There was a second which was eaten by a spider; only the empty skin remains! |

There were also clouded yellow and large fritillary butterflies which refused to stay still long enough to be photographed. The praying mantids are out and about too, still in the flightless form. I hope to get some photos this week.
